At about half an hour in Morovalle you will find Azoedenda Agricola Capina, a small but very nice Winery. Paolo, the owner, is very proud of his wines and is happy to give a tour or a tasting on his terrace overlooking the area. The wines are delicious! 

Podere Sul Lago in Serrapetrona is a fantastic small winery to visit. In addition to organic red wines (without pesticides), this winery also makes Vernaccia. The Vernaccia Nera grape is being renovated in this area around the Municipalities Serrapetrona, San Severino Marche and Belforte del Chienti. Vernaccia is the first Marchigian wine that from 2004 may predicate the DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita). To mention this on the label, the wines must be a doc wine for at least 5 years. The grapes must grow, harvested and produced in that certain area and meet strict criteria.

In Serrapetrona, every year in the summer there are also the Sagra della Vernaccia, a party in the village where all the wineries come with their Vernaccia and restaurants offer the opportunity to eat wonderfully.

The branOur favorite Winery in the neighborhood is Colmone della Marca. You can find this little Winery near San Severino Marche. d new Tasting Room is at the top of a mountain and you can taste an arrangement of wine with matching snacks. The view is amazing and the wines too! We advise you to reserve in advance.

The nicest and tastiest tastings are often possible in the area. You can go to wineries in Tolentino or other cities for tastings of sausage, cookies, cheese and much more! For example at Alberto Qaqcuarini.

One of our favorites is' Tenute Murola 'in Urbisaglia, a 20 minutes' drive from the house. You can buy and taste wine here, or make an appointment for an extensive tasting and tour through the cellars.
